One Purchased = One Donated
We are beyond proud to announce our commitment to giving back to New York. For every pair of boxers purchased, we pledge to donate 1 pair to New York City area homeless shelters.
We are excited to share that we have teamed up with The Bowery Mission - a homeless shelter located in Manhattan, NY. The Bowery Mission has served generations of New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, hunger and poverty since the 1870s. Every year, they continue this legacy, driven by their belief that hope is rebuilt and lives are transformed when we love well.
Last year alone, over 26,000 articles of clothing were donated to The Bowery Mission. These 26,000 acts of kindness helped to transform the lives of those who had fallen and needed a helping hand.
Even before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, homelessness in New York City was skyrocketing — with nearly 80,000 people in need of housing, the highest level since the Great Depression. Now, the pandemic has led to an even greater spike in homelessness - and we couldn't stand by without lending a hand.
When our brand first launched, we made it our core mission to give back to New York. Whether it be through partnering with NY manufacturers only, or donating a portion of our inventory to local homeless shelters - we wanted our customers to know that we care more about the community that inspired our coming of existence, than any bottom line.
We have come to realize that there are far too many brands out there that base their products on New York City culture, without doing much to give back and honor the city they admire. That's where we draw the line. Not only are we honoring our city through our products, but we are committed to lending a hand to those less fortunate folks who also call New York their home.
We have, and will continue to work closely with The Bowery Mission and other local homeless shelters to donate clothing that meets the needs of people who don’t have the luxury of putting on clean clothes every day. As we grow, our community outreach and giving will grow right alongside us.
